Digital graphics

For unit 6 on my college course I was tasked to create a logo and a poster for a band of my choice and have a minimum of 1 vector and one bitmap (Rasta) both requiring some form of text. using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

in this unit I had to look at and break down pre-existing graphics and album covers to what makes them effective, how it works on the target audience, what makes bad graphics and use my findings to draft an initial design. the initial design which you can see at the bottom (the helmet with colour) would then go through multiple changes and pier assessment to become the final products you see at the bottom of the page.

We then had to evaluate the final designs and break them down and suggest improvements we would do if we had to redo the unit again and how it effects and works on the target audience. as well as the final designs we had to create an alternate design and explain why this wasn't used and how it didn't meet target requirements which you can see at the bottom of the page on the far right.
