IBM Workshop

For 2 weeks my college underwent a workshop with IBM (International Buisness Machines), teaching soft and employability skills to help us progress into the workplace. Some of these include: Interview skills, Teambuilding skills, Presentation skills, Adaptability and creative thinking.

Over the 2 weeks we did a variety of documents some of which reside at the bottom of this page, ranging from: Team building exercises, Personal requirememnt adaptations, Personal reflections and Documentation. During this experiance we also had live talks from IBM members about differant aspects of employment and how we can get the most out of a job and the application process. Along with the skills we learnt and the talks and workshops we did over these 2 weeks we were taught about IBM Skills build badges which if for example put on a LinkedIn profile can heighten a chance of employment due to the weight they carry.

Along side the side projects and skills we learnt over duration of the workshop he had 1 big project to work on using the Watson AI software from IBM to create our own chatbot but i shall delve more into that on the "IBM Chatbot" page of my site which i shall link at the bottom. Throughout the 2 weeks we were also assigned a personal tutor which we had 3 meeting with via Webex where we would talk about the projects we were doing, what we were doing at the college and what our future plans were, whether it was education or employment.

I am incrediably gratefull that Strode college and IBM could team up to provide what  would describe as a verry influential 2 weeks on our college course
